Publish a Custom Object

For a Custom Object to be considered live and usable within the platform, it must have a status of Publish.

To publish a Custom Object:

1. Select Program from the top navigation bar, then select Custom Objects from the side navigation menu. The Custom Objects screen is displayed.

2. Search for and select the desired Custom Object (see Search for a Custom Object for more information on the available search options). The Custom Object Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected.

3. From the Status drop-down menu in the header area, select Publish. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Confirm.

After publishing a Custom Object, you must deploy metadata in order for the changes to take effect. See Deploy Custom Objects Metadata for more details on this process.
